Operations:

The Operations group includes various functions including production, maintenance, supply chain, quality control and project management.

Production:

 The Production department is responsible for manufacturing Septodont’s products ensuring that the product complies with government regulations and that all activities are performed in accordance with the requirements outlined in Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices. Associated Positions*: Production Operators, Lead Hands, Production Supervisors, and Production Managers 

Maintenance:

The Maintenance department ensures predictive, preventative and reactive maintenance activities are performed and ensure continuous quality and efficiency improvements for manufacturing process equipment.

Associated Positions*: Maintenance Electricians and Maintenance Mechanics.

Supply Chain:

The Supply Chain department is responsible for purchasing, receiving and logistics; including material handling, warehousing, inventory control and distribution of products.

Associated Positions*: Material Handlers, Warehouse Associates, Buyers, Data Analysts, and Supply Planning Specialists.

Quality Control:

The Quality Control department consists of Chemistry, Microbiology and Stability & Analytical Development. They are responsible for the testing of operating supplies, components, raw materials, finished products and for the disposition of operating supplies, components and raw materials.

Associated Positions*: Chemists, Microbiologists, and Stability Coordinators.

Project Management:

The project management team is responsible for operations projects involving strategic initiatives and new business development, inter-site harmonization, process improvements, product launches, technology transfer, third-party manufacturing and manufacturing compliance.

Associated Positions*: Project Managers.

 

Scientific and Regulatory Affairs:

The Research and Development department researches, develops and tests products in internal and external research collaborations. They ensure the characterization and analytical development of products in development and the constant scientific monitoring of our products.

Associated Positions*: Formulation Development Chemists, Analytical Development Chemists, R&D Technical Coordinators, and R&D Technologists.

The Regulatory Affairs department is responsible for the regulatory activities with respect to the pharmaceutical product registrations in the Canadian, US and International Marketplace. Further, they support the regulatory needs for medical device requirements of the Canadian and International market, and seek to ensure that all corporate and governmental regulations and procedures are upheld.

Associated Positions*: Regulatory Affairs Associates, Regulatory Affairs Supervisors, and Regulatory Affairs Managers.

 

Quality Assurance:

The Quality Assurance team is responsible for the oversight of all quality compliance activities. These activities include product release, quality systems (e.g. change control, deviations, documentation control), supplier evaluation, and distribution controls.

Associated Positions*: Compliance Associates/Specialists, Pharmacovigilance Associates/Specialists, Complaints Associates/Specialists, QA Associates/Specialists, QA Auditors and QA Coordinators.

 

Finance, IT, HR, Health and Safety:

The role of these functions is to advise and support the operational teams in their day-to-day activities, thus helping to improve the synergies and the performance of the company.

Through them, these groups provide a level of service indispensable to the excellence of the operational teams and to the overall performance of the company.

Finance:

Our Finance team is responsible for planning, organizing, directing and controlling all financial and accounting activities within the organization.

Associated Positions*: Accounts Payable/Receivable associates, Financial Reporting and Compliance Leaders, Payroll and Benefits Specialists, Senior Accountants, and Senior Tax & Treasury Managers.

HR:

Our HR teams focus on strategic human resource and health and safety initiatives, organizational and policy development and design, Global HR plans, legal and risk management and employee relations.

Associated Positions*: HR Specialists, HR Coordinators, HR Generalists and HR Manager.

Health and Safety:

Our Health and Safety team provides support to the organization including identifying hazards, assessing risks to the environment, assessing occupational health and safety risks to all employees, putting appropriate controls in place, and providing advice on accident prevention and occupational health to management and employees.

Associated Positions*: Environmental Health and Safety Specialists and Environmental Health and Safety Managers.

IT:

With a strategic function at the heart of the company, our IT experts cover all the IT systems (ERP, CRM, CMMS, servers and network) for various locations.

Associated Positions*: IT Project and Compliance Specialists, IT Technicians, IT Support Leaders, and IT Senior Programmer Analysts.

 

Engineering:

Our Engineering team focuses on all activities relating to Facilities and Process Engineering, Capital Projects and Validation. The team consists of employees that support projects involving facility upgrades, equipment installations, energy conservation, modification or improvement of processes.

Associated Positions*: Automation Electrical Technicians, Custodians, Validation Specialists, Process Engineers, Facilities Electricians, Facilities Maintenance Technicians, and Facilities Specialists.

 

Sales and Marketing:

Our sales teams are responsible for the promotion and sale of our products in more than 150 countries around the world, with the same objective: to improve the health and quality of daily life worldwide.

Associated Positions*: Territory Managers, Product Managers, Group Practices Managers, Digital Media Specialists, Marketing and Graphics Designers.
