Every year, the Louvre Museum appeals for donations for a project that it considers a priority: restoration, acquisition or museum project. This crowdfunding campaign called “Tous mécènes!” (Become a patron!) allows everyone to take part in projects in order to enrich and restore the national collections. This project has become one of the museum’s major events over the years.

The Louvre Museum 10th appeal for donations aimed at acquiring a national treasure: the bronze statue of the Apollo Kitharoidos from Pompeii. Its entry into the museum’s collections is an opportunity allowing the greatest number to access a preserved masterpiece yet never presented to the public.

Great lover of history, art, and literature, Henri Schiller – Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Septodont – is also a faithful supporter of the Louvre Museum. Under his leadership was instituted a series of conferences called «la Chaire du Louvre», bringing together renowned figures of the world of arts and literature.
