R.T.R.+ Membrane: the new resorbable bilayer synthetic membrane

Published March 30, 2023

As a pharmaceutical company specializing in dentistry, Septodont’s aim is to support every dentist to succeed in their daily procedures. Our mission is to provide our customers with dental products and services that are unsurpassed in meeting their expectations for quality and performance.

To pursue our mission, we recently acquired Biomedical Tissue, a company at the forefront of tissue engineering which designs and produces membranes for tissue regeneration.

Septodont is happy to introduce today R.T.R.+ Membrane, the unique resorbable synthetic membrane designed to improve post-extraction procedures.

After a tooth extraction, approximately 30% of the alveolar ridge is lost because of resorption¹. Using a membrane improves the amount, quality, and contour of the desired bone.

  1. Thanks to years of research leading to a patented technology, R.T.R.+ Membrane is the first resorbable membrane composed of 100% vegetal-based polymer, making it effective and easy to handle. It is the perfect addition to the bone graft R.T.R.+ for a successful synthetic procedure.
  2. With a resorption time of four to six months and a bilayer structure, R.T.R.+ Membrane is highly effective within an appropriate time frame for bone regeneration.
  3. R.T.R.+ Membrane is highly resistant to exposure. In case of suture rupture, it can be left in place to guide tissues to heal properly.
  4. R.T.R.+ Membrane is compatible with every bone graft and available in four sizes.
